Eudora Light - Mail

	SMTP Auth and SSL
	Covenant ISP email may also be configured for SMTP Authentication and SSL encryption for outgoing email. Please note that SMTP Auth and SSL are optional and are not required to use Covenant ISP email. For further information and setup instructions, see the links below. NOTE: Please configure SMTP Auth or SSL after first configuring your email program for your Covenant ISP email. SMTP Authentication SSL Encryption (outgoing) SSL Encryption (incoming)

Click the Tools menu and choose Options. Select the Getting Started category.

Under POP account enter your username@your mail server name. Click here for your Covenant ISP Mail Server. (Example: If you e-mail address is johndoe@ Covenant ISP.net, your POP account would be johndoe@mail. Covenant ISP.net or If you e-mail address is bobsmith@pgh.net, your POP account would be bobsmith@doit.pgh.net).

Enter your name in the Real name field and your email address under Return address.

Choose Winsock for the Connection Method.

Select the Hosts category. Under SMTP, enter your Outgoing mail server name. Click here for your Covenant ISP Mail Servers.

Click OK to save your changes and return to Eudora Light.
